Between the wrapped-up newborn weeks and the cake-smashing first birthday, baby moves through more milestone moments than any other stretch of life — and they happen fast.

Our Baby Milestones sessions are built for those in-between months: the gummy smiles, the proud first sit, the wobbly crawl, the way they reach for you. Choose a single session by your baby's age, or join the Milestone Club to document the whole first year in one simple membership. Every session is unhurried, with extra time built in for snacks, snuggles, and the breaks little ones need.

Built around your baby's stage — and their schedule

Each milestone needs a slightly different approach, so our sessions are designed by age. Infant sessions (6 weeks–6 months) lean into those early stretches and gummy grins. Discovery sessions (6–11 months) give a newly-sitting, soon-to-crawl baby room to explore. The Milestone Club ties it all together — four sessions at 3, 6, 9, and 12 months for one membership price.

We build in extra time on purpose. Babies this age set the pace — they snack, they fuss, they need a beat — and our team is patient and unhurried about all of it. Family and siblings are always welcome in the frame, and we've got the backdrops, props, and styling to match each stage. You bring a well-rested, well-fed baby; we capture the personality that's emerging week by week.

After your shoot

How do I get my photos?

Your session fee includes the shoot and a set of edited digital images. To see the rest of your gallery and choose your favorites, there are two ways to go.

Come in for a viewing

All sessions require a classic viewing session, booked 4–10 days after your shoot, to proof your photos and make your selections.

Online galleries are not available — selections are made in person at your viewing session. Your viewing is at our Folsom studio — even if your session was on location.

Cancellation policy

All fees are non-refundable, but transferable if rescheduled 48 hours prior to your session. Sessions rescheduled within 48 hours are subject to a $25 service fee. Please call 916-280-5013 to reschedule your session.

Baby Milestones Photoshoot FAQ

Which session fits my baby's age?

Infant Session is for 6 weeks–6 months; Discovery Milestone is for 6–11 months. The overlap at 6 months is intentional — pick by skill level: if baby is sitting up on their own, Discovery is the better fit. Want the whole year? The Milestone Club covers 3, 6, 9, and 12 months.

What is the Milestone Club?

One simple membership that documents baby's whole first year — four sessions at 3, 6, 9, and 12 months, with 3 edited images per session, all for $249. It's a saving versus booking the four sessions separately, and a Klarna payment plan is available — just call the studio.

What's a sitter session?

"Sitter session" is the industry term for a 6–9 month shoot, right when baby has started sitting up on their own. Our Discovery Milestone session covers exactly this stage.

Can family and siblings be in the photos?

Yes — family and sibling portraits are included at no extra cost in both single sessions. Babies this age light up around the people they love, and those are often the best frames of the day.

What if my baby gets fussy or hungry?

That's exactly why we build in extra time. The session is paced around your baby — we pause to feed, change, and snuggle as needed. A well-rested, well-fed baby is the real secret to great milestone photos.

Do you photograph twins?

Absolutely. Let us know while booking so we can add an extra 30 minutes (an additional fee applies) — the extra time keeps both babies comfortable.

From the moment we walked in, our photographer Lisa had the thermostat set to a comfortable 75 degrees because it was almost 100 degrees outside. She was/is a great listener and respectful of our time. She created beautiful backgrounds for my son's third birthday. She was able to capture a lot of candid shots, which I truly appreciate. Don't get me wrong, a nice pose is great, but Lisa was able to capture a special connection between me and my boys (and my husband too). Those moments are priceless to me. She's very patient with kids and she has creative ways to keep them energized. For example, she played Freeze Dance a couple times during our photo shoot. I loved all of the photos. It was difficult to pick favorites. Meghan (owner) is very accommodating. You can tell she values her customers. She is a local business owner and we are so lucky to have her in Folsom.   • I am absolutely in love with this photography studio, my friend Ms. Lacey is so good with my daughter, she manages to get amazing pictures even when she got a little fussy. It’s also very affordable compared to a lot of other studios in the area. I only say that because we have waited 16.5 years for our miracle little girl so I have checked around over the years and they are very affordable and they have an amazing Milestone Club that allows you to make payments! I highly recommend Lacey and would like to say that all of the staff is super friendly and nice and you don’t feel pressured to buy more than you can afford.
