Our Monthly Special is the easiest way to keep capturing your family all year long. Every set is carefully designed and available for a limited time only — once it's gone, it's gone, so each visit gives you something you'll never get to shoot again.
The session is quick and fun: 20 minutes, this month's themed set, and 3 beautiful digital images to take home. From seasonal favorites to unique creative sets, our themes rotate throughout the year, so there's always something new to look forward to.
Monthly Specials are built for busy families. You're in and out in about 20 minutes, with a fresh themed set waiting for you each time you come back. There's no styling homework — just show up, have fun, and let us capture the laughter.
Each set is a limited-time release: milestones, holidays, or just because. Come in for Valentines, then again for Spring, then Back-2-School — and watch your collection of memories grow all year. Every session is in our climate-controlled Folsom studio with free parking out front, and you'll see your beautiful images a few days after your session.

After your shoot
Your session fee includes the shoot and a set of edited digital images. To see the rest of your gallery and choose your favorites, there are two ways to go.
All sessions require a classic viewing session, booked 4–10 days after your shoot, to proof your photos and make your selections.
Online galleries are not available — selections are made in person at your viewing session. Your viewing is at our Folsom studio — even if your session was on location.

All fees are non-refundable, but transferable if rescheduled 48 hours prior to your session. Sessions rescheduled within 48 hours are subject to a $25 service fee. Please call 916-280-5013 to reschedule your session.

We have gone to LaLa Photography 3 times this year (2020) and we had a great experience each time. We had a different photographer each time, but the level of talent and skill remained the same. This review will reflect our most recent interaction with Lala Photography. From the moment we walked in, our photographer Lisa had the thermostat set to a comfortable 75 degrees because it was almost 100 degrees outside. She was/is a great listener and respectful of our time. She created beautiful backgrounds for my son's third birthday. She was able to capture a lot of candid shots, which I truly appreciate. Don't get me wrong, a nice pose is great, but Lisa was able to capture a special connection between me and my boys (and my husband too). Those moments are priceless to me. She's very patient with kids and she has creative ways to keep them energized. For example, she played Freeze Dance a couple times during our photo shoot. I loved all of the photos. It was difficult to pick favorites. Meghan (owner) is very accommodating. You can tell she values her customers. She is a local business owner and we are so lucky to have her in Folsom. I am absolutely in love with this photography studio, my friend Ms. Lacey is so good with my daughter, she manages to get amazing pictures even when she got a little fussy. It’s also very affordable compared to a lot of other studios in the area. I only say that because we have waited 16.5 years for our miracle little girl so I have checked around over the years and they are very affordable and they have an amazing Milestone Club that allows you to make payments! I highly recommend Lacey and would like to say that all of the staff is super friendly and nice and you don’t feel pressured to buy more than you can afford.
Meghan was so wonderful to work with. My daughter really enjoyed her session and the backdrops were sooooo cute! We opted for a Christmas/Birthday shoot and couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. The turn around time was super quick and we breezed through her viewing/selection process with ease. Pricing was very reasonable, especially considering the professional quality and how adorable they turned out. We’ll be using Meghan for all our future photographs. Thank you Meghan! Xo
