We started with a $59 Mini Monthly Special last year for Christmas. What did we have to lose for $59!?! Well, even with a stubborn toddler we got amazing family pictures and now have a permanent photo location! We love LaLa and will use them to document our family's growth over the years to come. This year alone we have taken our daughter's 2 yr photos, booked a newborn photoshoot, and scheduled Holiday Photos. Next year we are on the books for at least another 5 sessions! This was our first experience taking family photos. I was worried about being able to get good photos in with two littles who potentially wouldn’t cooperate. It had been a long day for us already and our toddler was already fussy and over the day. We arrived to our session and were promptly greeted. Our photographer was great at trying to get our kids’ attention and the staff was both kind and understanding of our toddler (and honestly probably even of my own tiredness and stress at the end). Overall, it was a good time and definitely a learning experience for us. I’m very happy to have gotten a few pictures of our kids actually looking and smiling at the camera. Will very likely be back for more pictures in the future

They have fun backgrounds to choose from, great props and the quality of the digital photos is top notch. They are fairly affordable too. We did our newborn photos here and had the absolute best experience. The newborn photos were held in a private room, which made breast-feeding and changing very comfortable. I was very nervous to get my maternity photos done at such a late stage in my pregnancy but our photographer made me feel so comfortable. This has been my favorite shoot I've done with my Baby Boy! We had so many obstacles making it to the shoot. I was so flustered when we arrived I didn't think the photos would be good. There were so many amazing photos, it was hard to select only a couple. The whole experience was so fun and easy from start to finish. I love that LaLa offered a Mommy + Mini Session that was affordable. Our photographer was so good with Baby Boy and with suggesting poses. The guiding during the viewing process made it such a lovely experience. We will definitely be doing future sessions with LaLa.

i highly recommend Lala Photography. they took my daughter’s newborn pictures with short notice and they were able to accommodate us with outfits as well even though i decided to change her outfit last minute. when we came in for viewing, we showed up 30 minutes early and they were able to accommodate us as well. they showed a slideshow of the captures and they all turned out beautiful! it was hard to choose and narrow them down. not only the photos looked amazing, but their staff is also very helpful and knowledgeable. i would definitely come back to get more pictures taken.

I can't say enough good things about LaLa Photography. So far we've taken newborn and 3 month pictures with them. They are beyond accommodating and always support outfit changes and prop changes. I've never felt rushed or hurried along. They do a wonderful job with the editing and the pictures always come out fantastic. The hardest part is narrowing down which pictures you want to keep without just buying them all. Our photographer was especially fantastic both times. I wouldn't hesitate choosing LaLa for your family's picture needs, I know we will be staying with them.

I had a fantastic experience using LaLa Photography for my maternity photos! Our photographer was really good with my 1yo son and got so many beautiful smiles out of him during his part of the session. During my part of the session, she was very patient with me in showing me the best poses that would capture my best angles. She also had a wide variety of gowns available in different colors and shapes, and I ended up liking two of them even more than the dress I'd brought with me! I met with her again earlier today to pick out which photos I wanted to keep, and they turned out so much better than I'd even expected! Overall, she did a great job photographing and editing, and I plan on using the studio again for newborn and holiday photos.

We have gone to LaLa Photography 3 times this year (2020) and we had a great experience each time. We had a different photographer each time, but the level of talent and skill remained the same. This review will reflect our most recent interaction with LaLa Photography. From the moment we walked in, our photographer had the thermostat set to a comfortable 75 degrees because it was almost 100 degrees outside. She was/is a great listener and respectful of our time. She created beautiful backgrounds for my son's third birthday. She was able to capture a lot of candid shots, which I truly appreciate. Don't get me wrong, a nice pose is great, but she was able to capture a special connection between me and my boys (and my husband too). Those moments are priceless to me. She's very patient with kids and she has creative ways to keep them energized. For example, she played Freeze Dance a couple times during our photo shoot. I loved all of the photos. It was difficult to pick favorites. The team is very accommodating. You can tell they value their customers. This is a local business and we are so lucky to have them in Folsom. Really love this place! We did a one hour maternity photo shoot. Our photographer was really fun and easy to work with. The studio/sets made for some really creative photos! And she has an eye for photography, lighting, etc. We then went in a few days later to review the pictures, and picked many that we liked. They had several packages to choose from (digital, print, canvas, etc) and best of all there was no sales pressure to buy the bigger packages. All in all we would definitely recommend LaLa, and we will definitely consider getting future pictures taken here as well.

The packages are affordable and well worth it. Our baby got a heat rash on her face 2 days before our photoshoot, so we were worried about needing extra editing, but the editing they did automatically that was included in the price was already beautifully sufficient and you couldn't tell our girl had anything but flawless, smooth pink skin. We actually bought the $250 Milestone package (photoshoots at the newborn stage, 3 months old, 6 months old, 9 months old and 1 year old) before even leaving from our first visit — we loved it here so much!

We paid for the first package, Newborn All Wrapped Up, which has a quoted time of 45 minutes but honestly it felt longer. There are so many different options and props you can choose. Trust me! Your ideas will come true. And I can't forget - our photographer was super gentle with my baby. She did not cry once!! She slept the whole time. Our photographer was patient, so efficient and great with both of our babies. We could tell she was a professional veteran and this comes very natural because she is passionate and had great taste!

We came here for newborn photos. They got us in quickly and were very friendly and helpful. She managed to take all the photos without even waking up baby! The photos were all so amazing that we struggled to choose our favorites! Definitely would recommend coming here for your family and baby photos. Also: great location and comfortable studio, for those who want to know that info!

If I could give more stars I would! I absolutely loved working with our photographer — she's very personable and works with you on a friendship level! I felt so comfortable during my shoot and the way she was with my baby was amazing! Consider this studio before anyone else with your newborn pictures! I definitely will be coming back for 1 year old pictures!!

My husband and I were in a rush to get our newborn some professional photos during the holidays and I stumbled upon this lovely place. I called and was booked right away just days before Christmas. We were both amazed at all the wonderful props in the building — it is a warm and cozy environment. Our photographer is so sweet and so gentle with newborns. She put my baby to sleep during photos and stayed calm while taking photos when she started getting fussy. Our photos turned out amazing and I will be back as soon as our daughter can sit up on her own.

We love LaLa photography! We call her the baby whisperer because our newborn was so cooperative with her. She had great suggestions with outfits and backgrounds. We did some shopping around and we found her to be very affordable and one of the few offering digital packages. Being awesome was just the cherry on top 😁

LaLa Photography is simply amazing. Our photographer did a perfect job! We did a mini-newborn session and our 4 week old baby girl loved her. She was so sweet to her and got the most amazing pictures. She is designing a photo book for us as well as provided us with digital files. We will be coming back for many years to come.

I was referred to LaLa Studio by my good friend, and I am forever thankful for her recommendation. Our photographer was amazing, she has such a way of making you feel so comfortable and at the same time AMAZING. My son absolutely loved her... he had not had a nap that day so she smiled, sang songs and played peek a boo to get him to smile.
